Who Are The Assessor Awards For?
The two assessor awards are designed to meet the differing needs of people who assess competence.
If they plan to assess learners using a variety of different assessment methods then A1 is the award most suitable.
Alternatively, if they intend to assess learners through observation in the workplace then we recommend A2.
How Do I Achieve An Assessor Award?
Like all N / SVQs, this qualification is competence based. This means that it is linked to the candidate’s ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work. Candidates plan a programme of development and assessment with their assessor and compile a portfolio of evidence to prove that they are competent and knowledgeable in their work role.
